Located in the heart of Marylebone, Sticks & Cones sits amongst one of London’s most vibrant and well-established high streets. Working alongside the client’s appointed interior designer, we delivered the complete fit-out of this contemporary retail ice cream shop, transforming the design vision into a functional and engaging customer space.

The interior concept combines a cohesive, playful colour palette with sophisticated detailing, creating a welcoming environment that feels both vibrant and refined. Carefully selected materials and finishes bring character to the space while maintaining a timeless aesthetic. The ground floor serves as the main customer area, featuring the ice cream counter alongside intimate seating areas that encourage customers to relax and enjoy the experience. At basement level, the layout incorporates customer WCs, a dedicated chef’s table for children’s parties and larger group events, and a spacious back-of-house food preparation area designed to support efficient day-to-day operations.

Our role focused on translating the interior designer’s vision into a fully coordinated build. We developed detailed technical drawing packages to maximise every square metre of the space and ensure the design could be delivered seamlessly on site. Bespoke banquette seating was designed to provide comfortable customer seating while discreetly incorporating valuable storage for additional stock. We also worked closely with specialist kitchen suppliers to coordinate the installation of equipment, ensuring all services and infrastructure met the operational requirements of the business.

The completed project successfully balances creativity with practicality, delivering a distinctive retail environment that enhances the customer experience while supporting the operational needs of the client.
