Working with three existing floors, Gemco Contracts Ltd were tasked with consciously adapting layouts, aesthetics and flow; creating a sought-after lettable space. A palette of complimenting finishes was introduced to work with the base architecture of the building, soft green hues paired with planting and textural wall finishes which are acoustic. To ensure sustainability was at the forefront of reworking each floor, feature lighting was relocated, soft furniture was reupholstered, and partitioning/doors were used to create new rooms. The 6th floor was stripped back to a CAT A+ finish allowing for all elements being removed to be incorporated within the lower floors. Existing desking was also retained and added to, creating a ready to move into space. Meeting rooms were improved with additional furniture pieces and new wall finishes. Acoustic carpet was installed to the lower CAT B floors to ensure the open plan design was not noisy for incoming tenants. Removed carpet tiles were then repurposed on the 6th CAT A+ floor to cut down on waste and create a blank canvas for potential clients.
