Following on from the success of the 1st floor fitout in the same building, the 2nd floor was treated with the same level of design, detail and user experience in mind. Due to the large reception on the ground floor, previously design and built by Gemco; the scheme is centred around users and visitors onto the floor. Entering the space it opens up to a light welcoming soft area with a bespoke oak dry drinks point, baking onto one of three large meeting rooms. Within the open plan office, curtains work as semi transparent dividers, keeping the aesthetic soft and considered. Desking has been kept clear and simple, ensuring it is spacious to work within. Textures and paint introduce soft hues of green, blues and pinks; paired with natural oak finishes and striking black crittal. Bespoke joinery has been carefully designed into the space to service the incoming team, including a large custom tiled island, housing an inbuilt planting trough. Open metal framework has been created to sit atop a bespoke oak effect storage unit, allowing for open shelving and ample hidden storage.
